I'm Back!!

Hello 'The Blogging World'.

Guess what? I'm back!!

My board exams have come to an end! and that means I'm back to clicking photos and blogging... It was such a long time!!

Anyways, I have decided to keep it regular this time and not like earlier (forgetting to update).. I have decided to keep it light and simple.. I have also changed the design a little bit.. There shall be a simple showcasing of photos, that I clicked during this 6 month break, once every week...

I'm also deciding to host a little Photo Of the Week contest... but I'm not sure.. it all depends on you. Your response really..

So see you tomorrow for the PhotoShow.. (I just made that word up.. )

Hey Everyone,
Sorry for the late update. I guess I forgot.. Anyway, Ganpati is almost over! Its so boring now. So naturally I turn to photography. I'll tell you about the "Bokeh" effect. For the record, the spelling is correct.
You click a photo with a bokeh effect by using a low aperture value eg. f/3.4. This creates a very blurry background.
Keep a few lights in the blurry area and an object (can be anything visible) in the area under focus and you have created a bokeh effect! Here are a few pictures with bokeh effect that I clicked so you understand what I am saying.

This way, I have kept the flames, the lamp and the ganpati in focus while there is another lamp in the background which is blurry.
I have also tried to click a few photos in B&W (Black & White).

Hey Everyone.
I have decided to do one post every week.. so you will find an update next week Saturday.
Last week, the view from my room of the sky was awesome! It was raining at first and the droplets on the window looked very good so naturally I clicked the photo of them. Later when the sun started to set, the sky showed a variety of different colors.

Hey Everyone!
Guess what? The monitor has started working because it is a new one!! So, back to posting!!
Bhigwan is a great place to see flamingos. We went there earlier this year and it was really a memorable experience. It was extremely cold in the morning because we started to photograph the beautiful birds at around 5 - 6 am. It was so cold that my fingers went numb! I couldn't feel the camera at all but with the help of many other fellow photographers, I could click a whole lot of photos. Although it was very cold in the morning, temperature at around 11 am was not tolerable at all! It felt like the temp. was 40 degrees (Celsius)!

There is a trick that people use - don't go too close to the birds or they fly away. But other boats seemed to have something else on their minds because they went too close and the flamingos flew away!! I still got to click the photos of other birds and I must say they're good!

Anyone who's interested in photography and that too nature photography should and must go there sometime. Remember the name - Bhigwan!
